Eating with us-
Throughout the Week, the pub is a busy lunchtime venue with our 2 courses for £12.95 offer proving very popular.
The pub offers a relaxed and comfortable space to enjoy drinks or food with family, friends or colleagues in front of one of our two log fires.
Weekends, the pub shifts up a gear and becomes busier, with a buzzing atmosphere and a wide variety of both new and familiar faces.
We recommend booking for a weekend, but we will always do our best to find you somewhere to sit.
Dogs are welcome in the bar.

Sunday Lunch
We offer a Traditional Sunday Lunch between 12-6pm, and booking is advisable as we get very busy!
We do not offer Starters on a Sunday, preferring to focus on great Roast dinners and homemade Desserts.
Roast Minsterworth 28 day aged Beef with homemade Yorkshire Puddings and Horseradish sauce £12.95
Roast Outdoor Reared Pork Loin with Sage and Apricot Stuffing and Homemade Spiced Apple sauce £11.50
Roast and Carved Leg of Lamb with Redcurrant Gravy £12.50
We also offer a selection of Vegetarian and Fish dishes subject to what is fresh and available locally.
Homemade desserts are made in house and change regularly although we have a few favourites!
Sticky Toffee pudding, Dark Chocolate Brownie and Brioche Bread and Butter Pudding are just a few of the desserts you've let us know you love!
Our menus are created lovingly using the best of locally sourced ingredients. All our meat comes from Gloucester Sausage Company, who are less than 1/2 mile away from us. We also buy Game from Boddington Estate, Asparagus from Evesham and Wye Valley, and Free Range Eggs from Court Farm in Bishops Cleeve- (less than a mile away!)
Our Real Ales are chosen on the strength of both their taste and locality. We often buy from Wye Valley; Bath Ales, Purity (Hereford) , Gloucester Docks, Butcombe and Goffs Brewery in Winchcombe.
