Upcoming Events and Christmas

We are now in full festive swing. serving our Christmas Menu, (see menus page) this year inspired by Scottish produce to differentiate us from the standard menus offered by others……  Stornoway Black Pudding, Arbroath Smokies, Highland Venison and more

The Log fires are in action, one in the bar one in the Dining Room, with tartan table runners to enhance our Scottish theme !  Winter pansies adorn our hanging baskets

We will hold a variety of evenings including a customer Goodwill and Quiz evening on Mon 23 Dec from 7pm.  its teams of up to x6 raising funds for 2 charities, The Butterfly Garden locally and the HCPT Pilgrimage Trust taking children with disabilities from Betteridge and Nation Star away to France at Easter.  £5 per person, plus a great raffle……Please book in advance as this event will sell out.  Burns Night returns on Sat 25 Jan, with a 3 course meal, a bonus course of Haggis and of course a Scots Piper, leading us all into the candle lit dining room, according to Celtic Tradition.  For that reason it arrive from 6.45pm to be seated en-masse at 7.30pm  Address to the Haggis will follow….. £30 per person, please book in advance

An early warning for the county as we see Tropical Storm Sebastien, yet another tropical system this season behaving unexpectedly. Refusing to weaken as it heads NE and bringing tropical air with heavy rain to Gloucestershire through tomorrow & Wednesday.
