We serve great food 7 days a week including Sunday Lunches with Scottish Roast Sirloin of Beef

We like to source food locally and this is reflected in our Seasonal Menus.  Typically we buy carcass Lamb and Pork and operate a nose to tail policy of utilising every morsel of the produce.  We make bread and every dessert from scratch. We cure, smoke and marinade wherever we can and try to embrace traditional cooking methods and recipes, whilst adding a modern twist to dishes.  Its great value considering everything is hand made and you don’t get slapped with a 12.5% service charge either….. for goodness sake lets stop the blatant greed of that trend. 

Food Service Times in the bar snug areas or main Dining Room :

Monday-Thursday 12pm-3pm / 6pm-9pm

Friday and Saturday 12pm-9pm

Sunday 12pm-8.30pm

We serve our main menus Monday to Saturday, and our Roast Menu all day on Sunday.

Our 2 course lunch for £16 runs Monday to Friday, and our evening Specials Board changes on a daily basis.

 

 

Sundays at The Spot

On Sundays we serve a separate menu which features Traditional Sunday Roasts, fresh fish, a few vegetarian dishes and a great selection of homemade desserts to tempt you! Booking in advance is always advisable as we do get very busy.

Larger Parties

At the Gloucester Old Spot, we offer a variety of catering options for larger parties, from BBQs and Buffets to two or three course set menus. For a more bespoke service please get in touch.
